Three Radio Frequency Licenses Up For Auction
This auction is for a license for the transmission of sound broadcasting services. It is being held on behalf of the Crown through the Ministry of Business, Innovation, and Employment's Radio Spectrum Management team. Note that the start price is also the reserve price.
This licence is at Aorangi Crescent Tekapo (Mackenzie District) Latitude -44.0052510 Longitude 170.4749765 at 88.6 MHz (FM). It is valid until April 2 2031. This licence is referred to as lot 2 in the auction catalogue. The winning bidder will be required to fulfil an implementation requirement of being on air for three months within two years of purchase. Winning bidders will need to sign a contract with the Crown agreeing to this.
