This is the former wind turbine tower from Gebbes pass.
it has been uninstalled and is now located in Christchurch for collection.
It's 28 metres tall spilt into three 9.5 metre sections that bolt together.
it's diameter at it's base is 2200mm and 1000mm at is top.
Made of steel with 20mm thick walls it weighs around 15 ton total with the bottom section being around 8 ton.
It would make some very large culvert pipes or maybe a tower for some other job.
Some technical plans are available for it.
It's been installed for about 20 years.
Collection is from the airport area of Christchurch, cranes are onsite to help load it but there will be a loading fee.
It needs to removed from the site within two weeks of auction finish.
