Vintage Broomwade Air Compressor w/ Electric Motor.
Compressor is a Broomwade type EH220 with a bore and stroke of 6, and 450rpm. Max pressure 100. Manufacture date unknown though there is some numbers on upper side of Compressor that are "C370 6/21" which might suggest June 1921? See photo.
Water cooled.
Electric motor is a Lancashire Dynsmic & Crypto Ltd motor, 400V, 22.5A, 15hp, 950rpm, 3-phase. Manufactured date not marked on plate.
Drive belt from motor to Compressor very worn and rotten.
Vendor states that Compressor and motor units were operating normally when removed from service. It's separate control unit had failed (not included in the auction) so they decided to get an all new Compressor instead of having a new control unut built for this antique..
