The Process
Skylarc organised the site, providing an estimated sale price valuation for the machinery in order to enable the liquidators to establish the likely return on the assets. Once assigned the task of selling the assets, Skylarc organised the cleaning of all machinery and the building in general to present the machinery to the highest standard. Skyarc described, photographed and tested all machinery, providing operating videos for inclusion in the Trade Me listings to maximise buyer confidence and financial return as a result. The auction was a small event consisting of 100 lots with a setup time of three days. The auction ran online for seven days.
Results
All machinery was sold with the total return being within the range estimated by the pre sale valuation. Skylarc managed the removal of all sold assets from the site and contracted cleaning of the premises before returning it to the landlord.
